Cutting Edge Processes and Technologies
To be the leader in any industry, companies must investigate, adopt and integrate the latest processes and technology for the customer’s benefit. A willingness to do just that has kept Centro in the forefront of the Custom Rotational Molding Industry
Technologies and Processes
- Rotomolded Anionic Polymerization (RAP). Centro was the first rotational molder to bring this process to North America. RAP is a lower cost process for creating Nylon 6 while the part itself is being molded.
- Multi-layer Materials and Technology such as cross-linked polyethylene / Nylon 11 that is used for hydraulic or fuel tanks to meet higher temperature requirements or hydro-carbon permutation. Polyethylene foam is also used as an inner layer to some rotationally molded parts to enhance structure, provide thermal insulation and/or reduce sound.
- RotoLoPerm® (RLP), a rotationally molded, patented multi-layer structure for compliance with evaporative emission regulations. Compliant with both CARB and EPA requirements and ready for use.
- Fuel Tank Cleanliness. Our research and development efforts have led to the development of cutting edge processes and equipment used in fuel tank finishing processes with the intent of preventing manufacturing debris from ever entering your parts.
- The only rotational molding company with dedicated Research and Development associates, equipment and resources.
- Eleven CNC Routers for precise trim operations.
- Infrared process monitoring.
- Rotolog™ monitoring equipment for cycle optimization.
- Automated Resin Loading Systems
- State of the art, PLC controlled rotational molding machines.
- Engineered, machined, durable Finishing Fixtures built in-house to precise standards.
- Proprietary Mold-Making Standards. Our molds are produced to exacting standards - the product of many years of experience. From the grade of aluminum to the type of steel in the framing to the number and type of clamps, you can be confident that your molds will be built for the long run.
